How to opt out of PropertyRadar

PropertyRadar (propertyradar.com) publishes personal records and accepts removal requests through an online form. You can do this yourself, for free. Here is what it involves.

Before you start

  • They will ask for date of birth and a phone number. The form will not submit without it, which is worth knowing before you begin.
  • They email you a confirmation link. The request does nothing until you click it, so check spam if it doesn't arrive.

The opt-out page

It will come back

Removal is not permanent. Brokers re-acquire records from the same public and commercial sources they used the first time, so a listing taken down today can reappear. We re-send requests to PropertyRadar every 60 days for our customers; doing it yourself means putting a recurring reminder somewhere you will actually see it.

Sources

That is one broker. Our registry holds 151 that accept opt-out requests, and each one comes back on its own schedule. We do this every 60 days and keep the receipts.
